Bamboo diapers are becoming increasingly popular with their sustainable and natural attributes as well as their inherent high absorbency and anti-microbial properties.
The Kawaii Mom Label Bamboo pocket diaper features an outer shell made of plush Minky, which is a polyester velour that has the feel of exotic mink fur. It is laminated with TPU for a high performance, water resistant and durable diaper.
The inner of the Mom Label Bamboo diaper is comprised of 100% Grade A Bamboo fiber and each diaper is outfitted with 2 bamboo inserts, each made of 4 layers, measuring 14 cm x 37 cm.
As with all pocket diapers, the inserts are stuffed inside the pocket of the diaper. They can also be used in conjunction with a diaper cover, perfect when you're on the go.
First of all it's Hypoallergenic which means it is non-irritating to the skin, making it ideal for people with skin sensitivities or other allergies and dermatitis.
Second, it is thermall regulating ensuring that you are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. This is more so important in the summer which bamboo's excellent wicking properties make it ideal for those hot summer days.
Third, bamboo is 60% more absorbent than cotton.
Fourth, it's breathability is wonderful unlike synthetic materials. Bamboo is naturally porous making it extremely comfortable against baby skin.
FInally, Bamboo is naturally anti-bacterial and prevents bacteria which keeps the odors at bay!
This diaper like other Kawaii pocket diapers available is ideal for babies 8 - 36 lbs. The diaper measures 19.5" in length, 7.5" crotch, 14" - 28" waist and 13.5" to 19.5" rise.

I really do like this diaper! It is great for my heavy wetter at night time. It holds so much more than a microfiber pocket diaper with less bulk! I will definately buy more of these in the future.

I was hesitant to try these because of the low price, but I was fooled. These are wonderful and work so well! I use one at night now with the two included inserts and she goes all night without a leak. This came after trying hemp and wool which was not always sucessful! LOVE these diapers and the fit is great!

As always, Kawaii pulls through to produce a quality product and sell it for a fabulous price. I do love the softness and absorbency this diaper offers, though drying is a lengthy process. Worth it, though, to prevent my heavy wetter from leaking! I pair the bamboo insert(s) ( depending on night or day, I'll use one or both ) with a MF insert to prevent shifting and bunching. Works so nicely; the MF soaks up everything upon contact, then whatever leaks goes into the bamboo. We love this one for sleeping. :)

That one is like bumGenius 4.0 in so many ways : the trimness, the fit, the size of the pocket, the way it sits on the baby, and the way it is made. The most I love about that diaper is that it is minky, which feels & looks so cuddly :)
I do stuff that Kawaii with two BumGenius doublers or BumGenius insert - it works great, PLUS no bunching up of insert in the pocket. Bamboo inserts are longer to dry, so I use BG inserts for that purpose. Me & my kids especially love when I dress baby in Golden Tabby or Royal Tiger pattern of KaWaii Green Bamboo mom label. It was bulky on newborn, but now it is one of the favorite - The same as BumGenius. OS dipes are all bulky on newborn, they do fit great after the baby is 12 ponds, however I did use them on newborn - the look was not perfect (the bulkiness), but Kawaii did it's job!

I like the softness of this diaper, and I really never have leaks with it, but the bamboo takes a LOT more time to dry than the snazzy minky or just a prefold and cover (the other types I use). This can be an issue when sun-drying and the other ones are dry much quicker. Also, these seem to hold smells more than my other diapers.

I love putting this diaper on my (almost 2 yr old) little guy especially at night. It's super soft, but still snug around his skinny legs and waist. I never cover it up at night... he's so cuddly like a stuffed animal when he wears it. The inserts which are very trim (positive!) do bunch in the legs for the mobile baby (negative to some) but that doesn't affect the function or containment of the diaper. No leaks! If bunching is an issue for you you can easily stuff with another insert of your preference. I've stuffed it with a bestbottom hemp insert (also super trim!) and because it's a stiffer material it worked great and didn't bunch. The only other negative I can think of is that it's bulky and even with the snap down rise there's no way it's fitting a newborn. Probably would work best after 12 or so pounds. But the positives far outway the negatives! I also love the bamboo's cool sensation, especially for knocking around town in the hot car and summer heat!

I was on the fence about getting this diaper because it was so inexpensive. How could it be good when it is $10 less then my other diapers? Well, I am telling you it is better than good...it's GREAT! It is now my favorite diaper and I am so sad my entire stash is not the Kawaii Bamboo! I used this over night with my heavy wetter with both inserts and for the first time he woke up completely DRY! I LOVE natural fibers and this diaper is wonderful!

I love this diaper! Its sooooo soft and the bamboo inserts are much thinner than the micro. They're almost like towel material. I usually put this diaper on my little one at night with 1 bamboo insert and 1 micro insert. She never leaks through and its not as bulky as 2 micro inserts. Additionally, its more comfortable to sleep in since Its so soft and doesn't have that "plasticy" material on the outside. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Love the absorbency, fit, prints and softness. Only downside is that I find the bamboo inserts bunch up between the legs

I was really excited to try these diapers but I find them just OK. I like that they're not as bulky as the other kawaii diapers but I find the bamboo inserts bunch up between my sons legs rather than staying put like the microfibre inserts.
