One of Kawaii's most popular pocket diapers has been the Heavy Duty Suede. They have upgraded this diaper and now call it HD2!
As with the older design HD2 consists of a waterproof outer cover and 2 microfiber inserts. The outer cover is made of TPU fabric which is a high performance, durable yet water resistant fabric.
The all new HD2 feature wider pocket openings for easier stuffing, extra large laundry tabs and a much needed front panel for those tummy sleepers to prevent leaks.
A custom fit through 3 rows of snaps on the front of the cover allow for small, medium and large setting. This diaper fits babies from 8 - 36 lbs.
Like the older generation heavy duty diaper, the HD2 inner layer is made of super soft suede cloth which wicks moisture away from the baby's skin, keeping him/her dry.
The cover itself can be used as a diaper cover for prefolds or fitted diapers.
Another new feature with the HD2 is the crossover hook & loop tabs. This overlap allows for a better fit for smaller babies.
The HD2 is 19.5" in length, 7.5" crotch, 14" - 28" waist and 13.5" - 19.5" rise

I like a lot about this diaper, it's very similar to BumGenius 4.0s. The interior and exterior seem to be of similar materials, and both have the generous inner pocket for stuffing. I like that this diaper comes with two microfiber inserts that are plenty long for when my little guy gets larger, but can now be folded over to fit. I do wish that the tabs weren't so large; since my guy has scrawny legs, I'd like to be able to adjust the tabs higher without fear of the squared edge rubbing his belly. Overall, I'm glad I bought this instead of another BG, since I saved about $7, and was able to buy some other items instead.

these diapers are amazing for sleeping all the way through the night! my daughter never wakes up because of a dirty diaper. my favorite is still the ultra soft but this is still a great product and i would highly recommend it for those heavy wetters or just for a back up for night time use!

I really like these diapers. I originally had a stash consisting of Kawaii One Size with snaps and microfleece inner layer, + 3 One Size BumGenius diapers. The Kawaii's were my favorites of those, but they originally wore out because of harsh laundering methods. In the meantime, I had tried out Kawaii Pure & Natural and Alva diapers. I love the Pure & Natural, but they only fit up to 22 lbs. The One-Size Heavy Duty HD2 - Suede is basically the same diaper as the Pure & Natural, only bigger. So far I love it just as much as the Pure & Natural.

I have already posted a review for this diaper, but I wanted to post another one because I love it. I just used it for overnight for the first time (doubled the inserts) and wow, NO LEAKS at all! Even with the extra insert, the fit still looks trim and comfortable. Will be buying more of these!

Just another diaper for me to LOVE from Kawaii. This diaper holds up to my Cody in absorbency and isn't bulky like some of the other Kawaii diapers I have. I am not a fan of Hook and Loop tabs, but these tabs are super durable. Zero issues with the front tabs coming loose from the laundry tabs (which happens to my ONE BumGenius Hook & Loop diaper). A great diaper to add to anyone's stash.

Wow, this diaper is so soft! My son has never leaked out of it once. The inner lining really does a good job wicking the moisture away from his little bum, it doesn't even feel wet at all until I take out the insert and see that it's soaked. It's a good fit and my son seems really comfortable in it (he has chunkier thighs). Also, you can't beat the price! Would recommend this diaper.

I really like this diaper. I love the suede. It hasn't stained since I got it a month ago. I really like how the velcro makes it a bit easier. However, the velcro has started to fray. A bit upset in that but it still works. So that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I own a few of these Kawaii diapers. I don't get to use them much because they're the ones my husband insists on using! They're fast to put on and get off. Up until my son hit 6 months old, both inserts in one made for a good night time solution. Still perfect for long naps for my heavy wetter though! I have had no issues with these diapers and they're used on a daily basis.

We loooooove our Kawaii. Aside from the fuzzibunz, these are what we have the most of. It's economical and can fit into almost any budget, they work GREAT, and come in a lot of great colors. I ove that you can get either suedecloth or microfleece inside (I prefer suede) and they both keep baby nice and dry. I'm not a microfiber fan but pair these with a hemp insert and they are bullet proof!! These are the dipes I always loan to people wanting to try cloth!

Overall I love the kawaii bamboo mom label. However, if you're looking to save money and stock up a big collection, these kawaii's can work well for daily use. I ordered around 15 Velcro ones, and match them with 1 of the micro inserts. They're never leaked, and she can go a few hours between changes. I then use the bamboo minkys at night. This diaper is one of the best for the low price. Definitely recommend
