      These soap nuts are not what I expected when washing laundry - there are no suds, not a fancy smell, and no measuring. However, they do get clothes clean and are safe for baby and cloth. You might need a stain remover, however, if you have to deal with any bad staining.

      Love Eco Nuts soap nuts! I show them off to people I know. I even give them a bag for to sample! This 90 load box lasts my family of 6 about 6 months! Great on our environment, wallet and clothes.

      I bought them for their properties to soften the fibers of cloth diapers. If you wash with Crunchy Clean, Country Save or other green detergent, and then dry , the fibers of the clothing/cloth diapers get hard, stiff. But Eco Nuts softens fabric, and your laundry, so the clothing feels much softer, like you've been using fabric softener. I do Cold wash with Crunchy Clean or Country Save, and then Warm or hot wash with Eco nuts - that way my cloth diapers :Prefolds, pokets, Flip, Grovia feels so soft and gentle. It is pleasure to put them on my baby's bum.
      However, they do deteriorate pretty fast :(
      MINE don't get to sudsy, but cleans ,I think , good.
      I wash my baby's clothing with Eco nuts, and his clothing always feels soft, and is clean, however i do pretreat tough stains
